DESCRIPTION
The txp driver provides support for the 3Com Typhoon/Sidewinder Fast
Ethernet chipset, including the following:
o 3Com 3CR990-TX-95
o 3Com 3CR990-TX-97
o 3Com 3CR990SVR95
o 3Com 3CR990SVR97
The txp driver supports IPv4 receive IP/TCP/UDP checksum offload, IPv4
transmit IP checksum offload, and VLAN tag insertion and stripping.
The txp driver supports the following media types:
autoselect
Enable autoselection of the media type and options. The user
can manually override the autoselected mode by adding media
options to the appropriate hostname.if(5) file.
10baseT Set 10Mbps operation. The ifconfig(8) mediaopt option can
also be used to select either full-duplex or half-duplex
modes.
100baseTX Set 100Mbps (Fast Ethernet) operation. The ifconfig(8)
mediaopt option can also be used to select either full-duplex
or half-duplex modes.
The txp driver supports the following media options:
full-duplex Force full duplex operation.
half-duplex Force half duplex operation.

FILES
The driver needs a firmware file, which is loaded on demand when the
device is attached:
/etc/firmware/3c990
