NAME
alpha-32bits - 32 vs 64 bits Differences
DIFFERENCES
Digital UNIX runs on the DEC Alpha 64-bit processor. On the Alpha a
number of data types such as C language long and pointer are 64 rather
than 32 bit quantities.
The functions in the alpha-64bits(5) category have different semantics
due to the 64-bit nature of the Alpha hardware.
