SYNOPSISmount_netc [-r] SERVER-NAME:VOLUME:DIRECTORY directory
DESCRIPTIONmount_netc mounts the specified NetWare volume as a local BSD/OS file
system. The server may be any NetWare server (e.g., a system running
Novell NetWare, or another BSD/OS system exporting NetWare filesystems).
OPTIONS
SERVER-NAME Specifies the name of the NetWare server followed by a
colon (:).
VOLUME Specifies the NetWare VOLUME to be mounted followed by a
colon (:).
DIRECTORY Specifies the NetWare server volume directory path to be
mounted. Use the normal BSD/OS directory delimiter, the
forward slash (/). The user must have permission to ac-
cess this directory and the volume must be properly ex-
ported by the server (e.g., if the remote server is an-
other BSD/OS system, the volume must be listed in the
/etc/ipx/netcexports file.
directory Specifies the local BSD/OS directory upon which the Net-
Ware file system is to be mounted. -r Specifies the
named directory as read only. It is equivalent to a -o
ro argument (as would be passed from the mount command.
EXAMPLESmount_netc NETWARE:SYS:/ /netware
mount -t netc -o ro NETWARE:SYS:/ /netware
NOTE
/etc/ipx/netcexports is a tab separated file. All white space must be
tabs or the volumes will not be exported to IPX/SPX clients.
